Scholl GelActiv™ insoles are made for tired feet. They offer additional comfort versus wearing shoes without insoles and are designed for different types of women shoes.
The structure of high heels and the anatomy of women are not always a good fit. The foot is at an unnatural angle, fighting the downward pull of gravity. Thus, when your foot slides forward in a high-heeled shoe your weight distribution changes, which causes friction between your foot and the shoe and this can cause discomfort. Toes are often forced down into narrow, high-angled shoes day after day. High-heeled shoes shift a lot of the body's weight onto the ball of the foot and keep the heels and Achilles tendons from properly functioning. A woman standing in heels may lean back and this can often cause back pain. The forefoot bears the brunt of all the walking. All this pressure can provoke stress fractures, swelling or tenderness.
Scholl GelActiv™ Insoles for her provide everyday comfort versus not wearing insoles. The soft gel supports your feet to keep you going all day long. They relieve pressure so your feet are not stressed at the end of the day.
There are many different shoes putting high level of stress to our feet which cause that they get tired and achy over a long time. Scholl is offering insoles to improve the comfort in your shoes and provide non-stop cushioning. The new Scholl GelActiv™ insoles are made for individual needs for any type of women shoe. The GelActiv™ technology absorbs micro shocks and helps to reduce excessive pressure from walking.
Women shoes can be very different in size, form and height of the heel. Therefore Scholl has designed four different types of insoles for women shoes.
Scholl GelActiv™ Insoles Everyday Heels: They provide cushion soft all day, suitable for shoe sizes 35-40.5 and for shoes with heels below 5.5 cm. The insoles provide superior support for Everyday Comfort (vs. no insoles). Soft gel with built in arch support comfortably supports your feet to keep you going all day long. The insole provides extra cushioning on the ball of foot & arch for a “comfy” feel and relieves pressure so your feet are not stressed at the end of the day.
Scholl GelActiv™ Insoles Flat Shoes: They provide all day comfort. Suitable for shoe sizes 35 – 40.5 and for flat shoes and boots. Designed for narrow style flat shoes to provide extra cushioning & shock absorption under the heels for lighter feeling feet all day. Therefore, your toes don’t get crowed and the insoles stay firmly in place.
Scholl GelActiv™ Insoles Extreme Heels: Amazing cushioning pads for extreme heels ultra-soft gel arch relieves pressures off ball of foot and provides extra comfort. They’re suitable for shoe sizes 35 – 40.5 and for shoes with heels above 5.5 cm.
Scholl GelActiv™ Insoles Open Shoes: Provide invisible comfort for open shoes. The transparent gel with an extra slim design is discreetly hidden when worn in open shoes. The ultra-thin design doesn’t crowd your toes while still cushioning the ball of the foot from pressure. They’re suitable for shoe sizes 35 – 40.5 and for open sandals and heels.
The insoles are very easy to use you only need to follow these instructions: (1) Ensure inside of shoe is clean and dry before use. (2) Remove plastic backing & look for marking to indicate left (L) versus right (R) insole. (3) Place insole in the correct shoe, sticky side down. (4) Place the insole so that the raised area of the insole makes direct contact with the arch of your foot. (5) Reposition as needed so that the arch support fits under the natural arch of the foot. (6) To remove the insole, pull it slowly & gently out of the shoe.
There is no age limit for the use of GelActiv™ insoles. However the insoles are intended for full-grown people of adult age and should not be used in shoes that are smaller than the size guide on the insoles indicate, so that cushioning occurs in the right parts of the foot.
The insoles should not be cut as they are designed to fit in all types of women shoes.
Orthopaedic and orthotic insoles are designed, among other aspects, for compensation of foot pathologies/position issues and the correction of false posture. They help to control or change the way your foot works, and can add support and relieve foot pain. As a rule they are recommended by an expert and often tailored to suit the exact shape of your feet.
Scholl GelActiv™ insoles offer non-stop comfort all day long and are not to be confused with orthopaedic or orthotic insoles. If you are reliant on orthopaedic or orthotic insoles we recommend wearing them instead.
The usage of GelActiv™ insoles should not have an impact on foot smell.
The insoles are offered women. They have a universal size. The insoles for women are designed to fit women shoes with size 35 to 40,5.
The Scholl GelActiv™ insoles are produced in universal size. Therefore they are designed to match different shoe sizes and shoe types. Detailed instructions on how to use insoles can be found on the inside of the packaging or on the website.
You only need to place Scholl GelActiv™ insoles inside the shoes. There is no need to cut the insoles. Letters for left (l) and right (r) indicate in which shoe the insoles need to be placed.
The difference is in the shapes and size of the four different insoles, so they fulfil the need of every shoe type.
The Scholl GelActiv insoles are also suited for high heels, everyday heels like pumps, open shoes and flat shoes for use in summer as well as high heels/ everyday heels in winter. For closed shoes we recommend using the GelActiv™ Insoles range for Everyday, Work and Sport activities <link to GelActive™ Insoles Everyday, Sport and Work>
The insoles can be worn without socks. But we recommend wearing socks or hosiery to prevent the feet from getting sweaty.
If you are reliant on orthopaedic or orthotic insoles we recommend wearing them instead. The Scholl GelActiv™ insoles are not made for compensation of foot malposition but to improve the comfort in your shoes and they should not be worn at the same time.
The Scholl GelActiv™ insoles are produced according to a high quality standard and we don’t expect the colour of insoles to transfer into your shoes.
If the Scholl GelActiv™ insoles are humid, we recommend to remove them from the shoe and to dry them off with a paper towel. If the insoles are damaged by humidity, we recommend not using them further.
The insoles are not machine-washable. To clean your insole, simply wipe the insoles with a warm soapy cloth. Dry them before putting them back into the shoes.
Replace the insoles when showing signs of wear. Replacement every 6 months is recommended or with first signs of wear out.
The Scholl GelActiv™ insoles are offered in drugstores, pharmacies and online shops.
