GelActiv™ Insoles

If you read all of our stories and advices, you should know anything about high heels, feet and our products. Anyway, if you still have a question or two, don’t hesitate to browse our FAQ.

1. When should I use an insole?

Scholl GelActiv™ insoles are made for tired feet. They offer additional comfort versus wearing shoes without insoles and are designed for different types of women shoes.

2. Why do feet hurt after wearing high heels?

The structure of high heels and the anatomy of women are not always a good fit. The foot is at an unnatural angle, fighting the downward pull of gravity. Thus, when your foot slides forward in a high-heeled shoe your weight distribution changes, which causes friction between your foot and the shoe and this can cause discomfort. Toes are often forced down into narrow, high-angled shoes day after day. High-heeled shoes shift a lot of the body's weight onto the ball of the foot and keep the heels and Achilles tendons from properly functioning. A woman standing in heels may lean back and this can often cause back pain. The forefoot bears the brunt of all the walking. All this pressure can provoke stress fractures, swelling or tenderness.

3. What is the benefit of Scholl GelActiv™ Insoles for her?

Scholl GelActiv™ Insoles for her provide everyday comfort versus not wearing insoles. The soft gel supports your feet to keep you going all day long. They relieve pressure so your feet are not stressed at the end of the day.
